New Year's approaches

...and I'm in Nelson, int he northern bit of the south island.

Time to find somewhere to camp up for NYE, and then over to Picton to head to the nth is.

I have arrived!

Got into CC at around 4pm
Walked far too far with my heavy bag.
(Couldn't find my pack)
Hitched to Geraldine (5 rides)
Was too late to go on, got rained on, gave up.
Stayed at a hostel.
Up early, back on the road.
2 rides.
Arrived at Mt Cook at midday, just in time to see my bro.

Thsi MAY be a fix for the pic2038.jpg virus - not tried..just the first and only accurate google entry I could find.
