F.O.D. (Friends of Dave) Part 1

Here's a (slightly doctored) pic of BigBadBenny, my bestest and most oldest friend. (And you thought _I_ was a freak!!

Silly Pics

Benny Spoon takes great delight in mangling various pictures he has taken. See below for his latest effort. I think this was taken on the platform of the Sydney airport train station, but who can tell...

Photo from Cup Day

This is me with the boys from work.
Apparently there's going to be a book about Cup Day, this was taken by a pro photographer who was contribiting to it.

So maybe I will get to look silly in print (again).

(Thanks to David Silva. If anyone in Darwin needs a professional photographer drop me a message and I will pass your details on to him)

Too much

nerd stuff has been happening lately....

Today I finally finished it.

If you're interested I will be writing it up here.

But not today, coz that would constitute more nerdism, and I just wanna bum around and drink some beer or something!

Makybe Diva!

Yesterday was Cup Day. (The Melbourne Cup, which is the biggest horserace in Australia)

I finished work at about 13:00, and just before I headed to the local racetrack to watch it on TV, I rang Neil the boss and asked him to put $10 each way on the favorite.

Lucky me, I won $45.

This got spent on beer.

I think I left at about 22:00, a bit hazy at that time.
(Nic rode down and drove me home)

For the first time ever, I managed to open my eyes while swimming underwater...I think I was too pissed to care or something. So I spent about 20 minutes swimming around checking out the bottom of the pool.

When I got up this morning I found two "witches-hat" safety cones in the back of the ute....I vaguely remember Nic and I walking around the racetrack carpark with them on our heads.
