The Weekend that Was

Ok, this will be short and sweet, as I have to get up in 6 hours. Gotta go install some evil poker machines at 7am.

Friday: The party to beat all parties...See photo below. More on this later.





Saturday: AFL Grand Final, beers. Yay Port Adelaide. Oktoberfest, beers. Overheating ute. Passing out on Shaggy's verandah.


Sunday: Get up, work out where I am, walk home, jump in pool. Ride to Ludmilla to see Elendil and reclaim the ve-hick-ell. Swim, frisbee, Nightcliff markets. Visit at Wayne's. Drive to fish'n'chips.

Wow, 3 weeks

have gone by since I was last in here. Guess I am spending a lot less time online these days. It's been pretty good actually.

Initially it was an involuntary disconnection; can't be bothered explaining, but let me just warn you that ADSL doesn't work for very long after you disconnect your Telstra line :)

After these forced days off, I actually went out and got a bit of a life. The weather is just too good to spend too much time indoors, you always feel like going out for a ride or a swim..or just cruising around to different friend's houses.

So not much nerdy to report...and the other bits are all a bit hazy..far too many nights out late..parties, movies, watching footy games down at the pub.

You know what I mean.

The next big event on the social horizon is Bertie's 40th, this coming Friday (which happens to be my bro Andy's birthday as well).

It'll be big.

I promise to post pictures up here, hopefully some video footage too. Not giving anything away at this stage.

(That gives me a chance to find the memstick adaptor for Nic's camera...My camera is on loan to sick Juzzy..he's my roving gore reporter now resident in Darwin Hospital for the next 2 weeks).
